A beautiful fluffy beret, handknitted in a soft and warm wool in a flecked deep purple colour, with stripes of burgundy. It has been finished with a black abstract print lining strip.
Handknitted in Wiltshire by my Mum, Jenny, this cosy beret is made using unwanted and unused wool, using up smaller remnant balls to create a unique combination of colours. Small strips of soft and stretchy fabric scraps are then handstitched into the rim as a lining, so the wool is not directly against skin.
The diameter of this beret is 29cm and the headband circumference is 57cm.
